Ruth Carolyn Fitzpatrick

An avid runner, swimmer and fitness instructor during her college years, Carolyn‘s personal yoga practice began in 1995. “What I quickly began to realize was that my yoga practice became so much more than the physical asana I was practicing on the mat. I would be driving in traffic taking long fluid yogic breaths and reciting a mantra that I took as part of a study of ‘passage meditation.’ And the most beautiful moments began to unfold in my life drawing me back again and again to my mat and to a deeper study of this ancient practice. I have amazing respect for the powerful physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga.

My passion for teaching yoga lies in guiding others towards the contentment, gratitude and acceptance of what yoga teaches us.“ Carolyn is a recently certified Kripalu yoga instructor, with hundreds of additional hours of study since 1998. Her teaches have included Maty Ezraty, Shiva Rea, Jai Raj Williams, Megha Buttenheim, Jurian Hughes and Nicole Bacon. She thanks past and current yoga teachers who continue to guide and inspire her on this journey of self-discovery and healing.

Carolyn also works as a consultant assisting seniors who are choosing to leave their home for a more supportive and safe environment.
